The DefendEye GNSS Navigation Module – GPS with MAX-M10S is a compact and efficient satellite positioning solution based on the advanced MAX-M10S chipset from u-blox. This next-generation GNSS receiver is designed for low power consumption while maintaining high positioning accuracy and reliability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including IoT devices, tracking systems, drones, and embedded projects.

The module features a built-in GNSS antenna, which simplifies system design and eliminates the need for external antenna components. Satellite navigation - what is GNSS?

GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) refers to a group of worldwide satellite navigation systems that enable precise location determination anywhere on the Earth’s surface. This category includes well-known systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, which together ensure global positioning availability.

GNSS technology is based on radio signal transmission between satellites and receivers on the ground. By analyzing signals received from several satellites at once, a GNSS receiver can determine its geographic position, movement speed, and precise time. Advanced receivers, including those using the MAX-M10S chipset, can simultaneously track multiple satellite constellations.
